Valley Family Church Muldersdrift
We are a Bible-believing, Bible preaching, Christian church. We believe in salvation through grace and Christ alone, the truth of scripture, and that our purpose is fundamentally glorify God and enjoy fellowship with Him forever.
We are a member of REACH SA (Reformed Evangelical Anglican Church of South Africa – formerly Church of England in South Africa). What does that mean?
Reformed: We are a protestant Christian church, adhering to the principles of the Christian Reformation led by Martin Luther, John Calvin and others, who split from the doctrines of the Roman Catholic church to submit to the authority of the Bible (more in the Our Beliefs section)
Evangelical: This simply means that we are committed to the preaching and teaching of God’s word.
Anglican: We are often confused with other “Anglican” denominations which refers to a common heritage in Christian England, however, there are some doctrinal points where we differ.
Our parish was officially constituted in 2014, as a daughter parish of Holy Trinity Church Weltevreden Park. The Pastor, Rob Prohn, formerly the pastor of the Krugersdorp parish at St Stephens, founded the new church plant in the Muldersdrift area.
